In
1949, the mill was bought by my Grandfather, Frank Egginton, a famous
watercolour artist. He converted the old flax mill into his studio
and home where he lived until his death in 1990. In 1999 work began
again to modernise and enlarge the house so as to accommodate a
restaurant, six ensuite bedrooms and our own living area.
